This document establishes the pre-contractual information relating to contracts concluded remotely on the website https://www.taippe.com/, referred to in article 4 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of February 14.
The domain https://www.taippe.com/ is owned by Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A., NIPC 503 755 443, with registered office at Rua da Baiona, n.º 422, Vilarinho - Santo Tirso 4795-784, telephone number +351 253 082 499 and email address contact@taippe.com.
Browsing the website https://www.taippe.com/, its subdomains and sub-websites, as well as purchasing any product through it, presupposes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Conditions of use
The user of the https://www.taippe.com/ website must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or over, and persons under this age must have the authorization of their legal representatives.
The user of the https://www.taippe.com/ website must act/buy as a final consumer, i.e. outside the scope of any business or profession.
Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. may not process orders registered on the https://www.taippe.com/ website when there are doubts about the user's status as a final consumer or when the orders do not comply with these terms and conditions.
3. Intellectual property
All content and information on https://www.taippe.com/ is the property of TAIPPE and therefore the use, reproduction, copying and dissemination by other means of logos, texts, images and videos on that website is subject to its prior authorization.
4. Price information
The prices mentioned are to be understood in euros, including taxes and duties (VAT). Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. may change prices at any time, but undertakes to apply the taxes, duties and prices indicated when placing the purchase order.
In the event of a computer, manual, technical or any other error causing a substantial change not foreseen by Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. in the retail price, such that it proves to be exorbitant or manifestly derisory, the purchase order will be considered invalid and consequently annulled.
5. Purchase procedure
To order on the https://www.taippe.com/ website, the user must have an e-mail account and their browser must be up-to-date and configured to accept cookies, in order to make use of all the navigability conditions.
To order:
- Go to https://www.taippe.com/;
- Within the item you want, select the options and quantity you want;
- Click on “Add” to add the items to the “Shopping Cart”. From then on, the item will be visible in your “Shopping Cart”.
- You can continue shopping by adding new products to the “Shopping Cart”.
- When you have selected all the items you want, select the “Cart” item at the top of the page.
- Click on “Checkout”.
- You can choose to make a purchase using your login (if you have already registered), create a new registration or make it as a guest, without the need to create an account.
- Fill in the fields for “Billing details” and “Shipping details”. If you are a registered buyer, these details will be filled in automatically using your account details.
- Select the desired payment method and then click on the “Checkout” button.
- If you have chosen the PayPal payment option, you will be redirected to the PayPal site to make the payment.
- You will receive an e-mail summarizing your order.
- We suggest that you save the order details for future reference.
Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. may not process orders in the following cases:
- Orders are incomplete or incorrect;
- The products ordered are no longer available.
In these situations, Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. will inform the user.
Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. reserves the right to cancel any order, even if it has already been confirmed, in the following situations, without being liable for any damages or costs:
- The product is unavailable;
- Incorrect or unverifiable billing information;
- The order contains incorrect data or indicates a situation of illegality;
- Lack of payment within 5 days of accepting the order;
- Indications that the buyer is under the age of 18 or does not have the authorization of their legal representatives;
- Evidence that the buyer is not a final consumer;
- A manifest error in the price indicated;
- The order cannot be delivered to the respective address;
If the order cannot be delivered to the address provided by the user or to another location indicated by the user, for a reason attributable to the user, the inherent costs will be deducted from the amount of any refund to be made.
If the order is returned to Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. due to a fact attributable to the user, including non-payment of fees or additional charges, the costs inherent to the return, namely transportation, taxes, fees or any other expenses, will be deducted from the amount of any refund to be made.
Shipping costs will not be refunded in the case of undelivered orders.
The cost of returning undelivered orders may also be subject to additional charges such as taxes, customs or other costs or charges, which will not be reimbursed by Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A..
6. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are not included in the sale price of the products. Shipping costs do not include any import taxes that may be charged upon entry into the user's country of destination.
7. Customs fees, duties and other charges
Customs duties, taxes and other additional charges inherent in the shipment of products to non-EU countries are payable by the user and cannot be determined in advance.

9. Delivery time
Delivery time is 15 days after receipt of payment.
If the delivery time exceeds 15 days, Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. will contact the buyer to inform them of the time required, pending acceptance of the new delivery time. In the event of non-acceptance, Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. will refund the amount paid by the user.
10. Warranty
10.1 Duration of the guarantee
A garantia de todos os produtos é válida durante o prazo legal de três (3) anos, contados desde a entrega do produto.
10.2 Procedure
Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. will examine the product in order to conclude whether the reported defect is covered by the warranty.
In the event of a defect covered by the warranty, Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. will repair or replace the product with an identical one, without prejudice to the other rights provided for in Decree-Law no. 84/2021, of October 18. In the situations of repair or replacement referred to above, Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A. will bear the necessary costs, including transport, labor and material costs, provided that the product is in normal conditions of accessibility.
10.3 Exceptions
The guarantee will not cover products that show defects caused by a fact attributable to the buyer, namely misuse or incorrect use, as well as wear and tear caused by normal use of the product.
11. Right of free resolution from the contract
11.1 Right of free resolution
The consumer has the right to freely withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days, without having to give any reason.
The period for exercising the right of withdrawal expires 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods or, in the case of a contract where the consumer has ordered several goods in a single order and the goods are delivered separately, where you acquire or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the last good.
In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us - Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confeções, S.A., with registered office at Rua da Baiona N.º 422, Vilarinho - Santo Tirso 4795-784, with telephone number +351 253 082 499 (Call national landline) and email contact@taippe.com - of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter sent by post or email).
You can use the model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory. You also have the option of filling in and submitting the model withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement of withdrawal electronically via our website https://www.taippe.com/. If you make use of this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal request on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay.
For the withdrawal period to be respected, it is sufficient for your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal to be sent before the withdrawal period expires.

11.2 Effects of free resolution
In the event of termination of this contract, you will be refunded all payments made, excluding shipping costs (delivery and return), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to terminate this contract. We make such refunds using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; in any event, you do not incur any costs as a result of such a refund.
11.3 Return conditions in the event of free termination of the contract
Items in usable condition. Return of the complete item, with all its components and accessories and original packaging in perfect condition.
12. Return period
The consumer must return the goods no later than 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which he informed Polopique - Comércio e Indústria de Confecções, S.A. of the decision to terminate the contract, and must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The deadline is deemed to have been met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period.
The following contracts are excluded from the right to freely terminate the contract:
- Supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or manifestly personalized;
- Supply of goods which, by their nature, cannot be reshipped or are likely to deteriorate or quickly become out of date;
- Supply of sealed goods which cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene when opened after delivery;
- Supply of goods which, after delivery and by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other products.

14. Changes

15. Applicable legislation
These general conditions and all contracts entered into under them are governed by Portuguese law.
