Our Taippe
Taippe (pronounced “Type”) is a slow fashion brand dedicated to crafting timeless, high-quality pieces from natural and cellulose fibres. With a focus on durability and versatility, our exclusive, themed capsules are designed to build a wardrobe made to last. We believe in mindful consumption and creating a deeper connection to the clothes we wear. Taippe is proudly Irish designed, crafted by Portuguese hands, blending two cultures into one creative vision.

Taippe Team
Taippe is an all-female team built on friendship, creativity, and a shared vision to redefine fashion. Founded by Matilde in January 2024, the brand was initially launched with the support of a parent company. That September, the first capsule, Blood Taippe, was introduced, designed by Molly, who had been brought on board from the very beginning as Senior Fashion Designer.
Soon after, Isabel joined the team, strengthening the brand’s Portuguese roots through her unique background, having been raised in Macau.
In July 2025, Matilde and Molly made Taippe fully independent, a defining moment that gave them the freedom to shape the brand on their own terms, from first sketch to final campaign.

Taippe remains deeply connected to the intimate, familial environment of Portuguese textile craftsmanship. We oversee a vertical process, from raw fibre to finished garment, this ensures exceptional quality at every step.
We believe in creative collaboration, not just within our team but with our wider community and collaborators. From fashion and illustration to photography and storytelling, we embrace creative freedom in every form.
