With a focus on durability and versatility, our exclusive, themed capsules are designed to build a wardrobe made to last. We believe in mindful consumption and creating a deeper connection to the clothes we wear. Taippe is proudly Irish designed, crafted by Portuguese hands, blending two cultures into one creative vision.

Taippe is an all-female team built on friendship, creativity, and a shared vision to redefine fashion. Founded by Matilde in January 2024, the brand was initially launched with the support of a parent company. That September, the first capsule, Blood Taippe, was introduced, designed by Molly, who had been brought on board from the very beginning as Senior Fashion Designer. Soon after, Isabel joined the team, strengthening the brand’s Portuguese roots through her unique background, having been raised in Macau.

Whenever possible, we work with natural and cellulose fibres. To avoid producing fabric unnecessarily, we prioritise repurposing existing stock from Portuguese factories. This reduces waste, extends the life of materials already made, and allows us to design responsibly without compromising quality.
We oversee a vertical process from fibre to finished garment, ensuring transparency, traceability and craftsmanship at every step. Our fabrics are the foundation of each collection, chosen with intention and tested for longevity.

We produce everything in Portugal, not because it’s easy, but because it matters. Local production lets us work closely with skilled makers, ensure fair conditions, support family-run factories, and maintain Taippe’s quality.
We don’t mass-produce nor chase trends. We create in small batches, use responsible materials, repurpose existing fabrics, and pay the true cost of craftsmanship. Each piece reflects the real value of the people, time, and expertise behind it.
